About AVISP - Your Local Northern sonoma County Internet Provider

Family-Owned. Community-Rooted. Serving Our Neighbors Since 2002.

AVISP is a rural-focused, locally owned internet service provider based in Geyserville, California. For more than two decades, we’ve delivered fast, dependable internet to the homes, ranches, wineries, and small businesses of Northern Sonoma County — communities big providers often overlook.

When you choose AVISP, you get more than internet service.
You get neighbors who care about keeping your family, your property, and your business connected.

Our Story

Built in Alexander Valley. Raised by the Community. Growing with You.

AVISP (AV Wireless Inc.) began in 2002 as a small local partnership between Steve Young, Tammi Young, and Fred Young. What started as a practical solution for connecting rural farms and family properties quickly became a trusted regional network.

Between 2002 and 2010, AVISP expanded from Alexander Valley into Dry Creek Valley, Chalk Hill, Geyserville, and Cloverdale — always with the same mission:

Bring reliable, affordable internet to the rural communities that need it.

In 2010, Steve and Tammi transitioned the company into AV Wireless Inc., continuing to modernize the network, expand tower locations, and improve speeds for the families and businesses we serve.

Resilience Through Challenges

Rebuilding After the 2019 Kincade Fire

AVISP’s transmission towers and equipment were destroyed. But thanks to the strength of our team, local support, and insurance recovery, we rebuilt as quickly as possible, restoring internet to customers even before evacuation orders were lifted.

This event reinforced what we’ve always known:

We're part of this community -- and we stand with it through everything.

What makes AVISP Differernt

Local Service. Real People. Reliable Rural Internet.

Big national carriers treat rural customers like an afterthought.
We don’t.

Here’s what makes AVISP the preferred choice for rural Northern Sonoma County:

Our team understands hills, valleys, vineyards, metal barns, ADUs, and rural routers better than anyone.

✔ No Call Centers

When you reach out, you speak to someone right here in our community — not a national office.

✔ Reliable Speeds Without Data Caps

No throttling. No penalties. No confusing fine print.

✔ Property-Wide Connectivity

We connect main homes, guest houses, barns, shops, outbuildings, tasting rooms, and vineyard offices.

✔ Fast, Flexible Installations
