Access My Online Account
- Click any link our our website labeled “MY ACCOUNT” or https://powercode.avispmail.com to access the Customer Portal log in page. The username is typically the email address given at the time of sign up.
- Click the “FORGOT USERNAME OR PASSWORD” link. They system will send a reset link to the email address given at the time of sign up.
- Access your email. Click the reset link sent from the customer portal.
- Select a new password to access your account.
- Remember, all passwords are encrypted, so we cannot see them. If you forget your password, simply click the “FORGOT USERNAME OR PASSWORD” link to create a new password.
Reboot My Router – Why & How
Like everything technical, sometimes it needs a reboot to straighten out a few bumps. This is true for your router. AVISP provides your first router, upon installation. The router connects our exterior transmitting equipment (the radio) to your internal wifi network. Without a properly functioning router, your internet will not work well.
Follow these simple steps to reboot your router whenever your internet is not quite right. If that doesn’t solve the issues, feel free to call us at (707) 433-8327. Our technicians are here to help!
Rebooting Your Router:
Here is a basic procedure list for rebooting router.
First, verifyÂ the router has power by looking for lights.
Make sure Ethernet cable is plugged in securely to the ethernet port on the back of the router. On this particular router, the port is blue but that is not necessarily the case for all routers. Most all ethernet ports on routers can be identified by the â��Eâ�� symbol shown above the port.
Reboot the router. Â Physically unplug the power cable. Wait 10 seconds and plug back into power.
Under no circumstances should â��RESETâ�� Â button for the router ever be pushed. It is recessed button on the back of the router. On most routers, the button looks like this (above photo). On other routers the button is red.
Pressing this button results in a factory reset of the router causing our equipment to no longer associate with the router. in this button should never be pushed as it will result in a factory reset of the router causing our equipment to no longer associate with the router. If this button is pushed AVISP will have to make a service call to the customer and they will be charged
In the event the reset button is pushed, AVISP will send a technician for a service call resulting in a service charge to the customer.

Rebooting Exterior Radio Equipment
Radio reboots are uncommon but after a major site failure, power outage, or heavy storm, the radio may need a reboot. Here are the step-by-step instructions to rebooting your radio. After reboot, you may need to reboot your router (see above). In the event this does not solve your issues, please call (707) 433-8327.
This is a POE (power over ethernet) also referred to as “the brick”. It provides power to the radio located on the outside of the building via the ethernet cable.
Check that the brick is plugged into a wall outlet. Identify and confirm the brick is receiving power by the light located on the top.
The brick has two ports. One is labeled POE and the other LAN.
The POE port has a cable that runs to the back of the router as shown below:
The LAN port has a cable that runs to the radio. This cable is typically run into the wall and to the outside of the building.
It isÂ crucialÂ these cables are plugged into the correct ports. Plugging into the wrong ports will result in loss of connection.
LAN port: to router
POE port: to radio (from customer’s view: cable runs into wall or floor)
Unplug the brick’s power from the wall outlet. Wait 20 seconds and plug back into the wall outlet (or power source – this may be a power strip or battery backup).
If you cannot access the wall outlet, but your have access to the brick itself: To reboot the radio unplug the POE cable from the brick, wait 20 seconds, plug back into the POE port.
